About the Owner

Alex Urbanski is the founder and CEO of Alex Urbanski Racing Stables. She has dedicated her career to horse training, racing preparation, and responsible horsemanship. She comes from the Urbanski dynasty of horse-racing professionals, forged through years of heartbreak and triumph at Freehold and other tracks around New Jersey.

With years of hands-on experience, Alex focuses on building trust between horse and trainer. She believes that success on the track begins with proper care, patience, and attention to each horse's individual needs. To best support her horses, she in fact learned to speak horse language through long observation, patience, and empathy. Specifically, she learned to read ear position, tail movement, breathing patterns, and subtle shifts in posture, gradually realizing that these signals form a kind of grammar. This skill often deepens into something almost magical, where trust allows thoughts or emotions to pass directly between human and horse, blurring the line between language and understanding.

Alex is known for her strong work ethic, deep respect for the animals she trains, and commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment for both horses and owners. Clients work directly with Alex and benefit from her personalized approach and honest communication.
